Singer songwriter Chris Nott first came to prominence when he appeared on TV’s Stars In Their Eyes Show with his fabulous rendition of David Essex hit Hold Me Close

Music has been part of his life for longer than he can remember.  He signed his first solo record deal at the age of nineteen (Magnet), and his second at the age of twenty four, (Polydor) He worked with some of the most talented producers and musicians in the world, including Steve Levine, Peter Collins, Simon Cowell, Pete Waterman, Shakin Stevens, and Lenny Henry.

Chris even wrote his own Pop page for the giant IPC Magazines and was also lucky enough to do a few TV shows, including the legendary “Tiswas”, the experience was invaluable.

In 1995 Chris fronted a soul band (The Soul Traders), this led to him being spotted by an agent who asked Chris to audition for the hit TV show “Stars in Their Eyes” He took this opportunity and ended up performing to an audience of approximately ten Million viewers on the 1999 series as the legendary David Essex.

The 70’s Heartthrobs Show will include the hits of Neil Diamond, David Bowie, The Osmonds, David Cassidy, Elvis Presley, Bay City Rollers, Sweet, Bryan Ferry, Mud, Jeff Beck, The Bee Gees, Marc Bolan and, of course, David Essex.
