Returning to our stage SMALL CHANGES, join us for an evening of pop-folk-rock and points in-between!
Small Changes are an acoustic based trio using cello, violin and guitar along with them all singing. They perform anything and everything from folk, pop, rock and points in-between.
Formed with experience of many local bands and orchestras over the years, they are known for doing their own take on pop, rock and folk favourites from the 1970s to now. They also have their own song-writing strengths and perform original songs from their varied influences. In 2017 they decided to produce a CD EP of their own as impressed audience members wanted to know if they any of their own songs recorded. The self-explanatory EP “This Is Us” was the result. They have continued to write their own songs and of course add to the cover versions they perform. Take a listen to samples at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOq5C7hDDvs
The band have supported local gigs by such names as 80s star Paul Young, ex Wishbone Ash main man Martin Turner, prog-pop legends Stackridge and rising star folk names Amelia Coburn and George Boomsma. They have also done sessions for Black Country Radio.
They’ve performed many well received gigs around the Midlands . As one of the band said recently “Come along and hear us pluck around, and have some fun”. Well there’s an invite that sounds good!
