FAQs
Who are Bromsgrove Arts?
Bromsgrove Arts is an initiative delivered by Fairfield Village Community Association, with the support of Fairfield Village. By using cinematic and performing arts, our goal is to bring people together, and to reduce social isolation & loneliness.
What’s the difference between you and a ‘big’ cinema & arts centre?
In a nut shell, we are smaller operation using a multi-use venue, our chairs are banqueting style and we are all volunteers.
What we host & what we screen is no different; e.g. when we screen a live concert, it is the same feed and at the same time, and most of our live music acts are well known within the Midland’s music scene, with some artists having performed nationally and internationally.
What’s your cinema screenings like?
We use a HD projector, a Dolby 5 equivalent sound system and 4-metre-wide screen. To allow additional comfort, nearly all our screenings include an intermission.
Can I buy tickets on the door?
Any unsold advance sale tickets are made available on the door. To avoid disappointment, we encourage tickets to be purchased through our website.
Do you accept payment cards?
All major payment cards are accepted, including Visa, Mastercard & American Express.
Do you accept cash?
We accept pound sterling coinage and Bank of England notes (except £50.00 notes)
Is there free parking?
Yes. There is free parking behind the Village Hall, plus there is parking space at the nearby Recreation Ground, a couple of hundred metres north of the village hall; as you drive from the hall towards the Swan Inn & the A491 the driveway to the Recreation Ground car park is on your right.
Is there a licenced bar?
Yes, the bar sells beers, ciders, wine & a range of non-alcoholic drinks.
Do I have to pay a box office fee?
If tickets are purchased online there is a box office fee that is charged by TicketLab who look after our online sales, the amount you pay will be displayed at the checkout. As we keep our ticket prices low and affordable, we are unable to absorb the TicketLab administration fee.
